The Shoei NXR/NXR2 sports helmet has an enormous range of uses.
The adjustment options for its inner padding are just as varied.

Head pads in different sizes can be used to replace the original pads or to customize the helmet in the upper head area. The pads of a helmet model are interchangeable within their size assignment, e.g. "S9" – "S13" – "S17". "S9" stands for a thinner cushion, "S17" for a thicker one, as can be seen in the diagram below.

With a tight but comfortable helmet, you can take off on the race track as well as at the traffic light on the corner of your block. The head padding of the NXR/NXR2 ensures that the helmet fits snugly, while at the same time its three-dimensional ribbed structure enables excellent ventilation and thus effective moisture management. The use of quick-drying materials and mesh material in the cover promote a comfortable fit, whether for sporting use or on long tours.
