Like every Arai, the Quantic was primarily designed to provide the best possible protection. Manufactured by hand, the outer shell is extremely stable – with considerable weight reduction. The smooth, round shape stands for Arai and was developed above all to enable "sliding" and thus to distribute the forces of the impact. The Quantic uses the same aerodynamic and protective properties as the Arai racing helmets, with all the experience and know-how gained over millions of kilometers of road. It "glides" cleanly and efficiently through the air and envelops the driver in luxury. It is the helmet of choice for riders who expect the best performance from a helmet – in terms of protection, comfort and ease of use, day in and day out – without compromise. To make it easier to put on and take off, the Quantic has a 5 mm wider helmet opening. The VAS MAX Vision visor is equipped with a Pinlock disc. The interior made of brushed nylon is removable, has the Facial Contour System (FCS) and a cable pocket in the neck roll. It is also equipped with the Emergency Release System (ERS).

The Quantic model is officially approved and certified according to the ECE R22-06 standard.
