With the new PRO Shade system Arai now offers a (patented) revolutionary solution to a known problem: the sunblind!
Foldable sun visors, which are located between the outer and inner shell of the helmet and protect against sun glare, are nowadays quite common. However, Arai believes that this construction can compromise the protective effect of a helmet in an accident.
Since the PRO Shade system is fully mounted on the outside of the helmet, it does not negatively affect the protective effect of the helmet and confirms the R75 shape concept of Arai.
The PRO Shade system is a small additional sight locked in its original position. The unlocking is done in a simple manner by the additional visor is pulled forward. Then it can be folded down with a handle and forms an effective sunscreen.
The PRO Shade system is the all-weather, all-weather solution for dedicated touring riders, providing protection against sun glare, fog and haze. Especially for riders who prefer an upright seating position and / or the comfort of a fairing, the PRO Shade system significantly improves the comfort of the driver.
