Description

The AMT-8 Stretch Drystar®XF Jacket is a new addition to the AMT (Alpinestars Motion Technology) line and is designed to offer the ultimate level of comfort for long-distance adventures. Like other jackets in the AMT range, the AMT-8 features an ACTIVE fit, ergonomically designed to provide maximum freedom of movement and comfort while ensuring a high level of ventilation and breathability. With its strategically placed Hyperflow vents and waterproof Drystar®XF stretch lining, the AMT-8 Jacket provides cooling ventilation where it's needed most, keeping the rider dry in harsh weather conditions.

• Highly breathable, 100% stretch performance jacket for unbeatable flexibility and superior riding comfort.
• Active fit for touring, with pre-shaped arms, ergonomic elbows, and a contoured hem for superior rider comfort.
• Long zippered vents on the chest and arms provide a high level of cooling airflow when open, as they act like scoops to capture the incoming airflow. The AMT-8 jacket's Hyperflow ventilation system offers a larger surface area for air exchange, with the side chest vents kept open by an internal drawcord system.
• The rear vent features a shingled design, remaining open to draw incoming air from the front vents. This creates a constant airflow, with air entering at the front and exiting through the rear vent.
• The waterproof Drystar®XF stretch liner is extremely versatile and can be used as an inner windproof layer when worn under the jacket or as a waterproof layer for rain protection when worn over the jacket. When not in use, the liner packs easily into its integrated pouch and can be conveniently stored in the AMT-8's rear gear pocket.

Construction

• Highly breathable, fully stretch performance jacket offers unparalleled flexibility and superior comfort. Long, ventilated zippered openings on the chest and arms act as air scoops, providing superior cooling performance. The jacket's Hyperflow ventilation system maximizes airflow and ventilation when the side vents are kept open by the internal shock cord system.
• The back exhaust vent features a shingled design, ensuring it remains open at all times for continuous airflow. Air flows from front to back, maintaining a constant crossflow and providing the rider with superior ventilation.
• The versatile Drystar® XF stretch liner can be used as an inner windproof layer or an outer waterproof layer and packs easily into its integrated pocket for storage in the rear payload pocket.
• A minimalist lining enhances riding comfort, with internal pockets for a split chest protector and a back protector pocket featuring 3D mesh channels for improved breathability and comfort. CE-level chest and back protectors are available as optional accessories.
• New storm collar design with bungee adjuster to prevent water ingress, with integrated chin guard for unbeatable fit and comfort.
• The forearm adjustment is designed to fit the sleeves and keep the protectors securely in place.
• Outdoor-inspired cuffs with a slim design offer increased coverage and a good fit with both short and long gloves, and wrist adjustment is achieved via hook-and-loop Hypalon cuff adjusters.
• Drawstring waist for a streamlined fit. Waterproof internal pocket for secure storage of valuables.
• Ergonomic front cargo pockets with a reverse rally-inspired design allow quick and easy access for enhanced utility and practicality.
• A dual-access, double-capacity rear cargo pocket in the lower back is ideal for stowing the WP Drystar®XF liner (which packs down into a small integrated pocket for easy storage) and other personal items.
• Zipper connection at the waist for a secure connection with Alpinestars AMT-8 Drystar®XF pants.
• Equipped with a zippered pocket for a back protector.

• Tech-Air® Ready and compatible with Tech-Air® 7x.
• Category II EN 1621-1:2012 Level 2 Nucleon Plasma Pro protectors at the shoulders and elbows for effective impact protection.
• According to European law, the CE marking is a conformity requirement for placing this product on the market. The following standards apply:
